david just linked me to this super interesting and super relevant blog post about all the details behind starting up a food cart/truck. kinda makes you more appreciative of all the work that went into making it convenient for you to get a satisfying falafel sandwich after work.

on a related note, i heard from my cousin yesterday that the hot dog carts outside the met (museum) pay $50k a month for that itty bit of real estate. craziness!
